DNBR celebrates Dr. Stockmeier's retirement
Earlier this year, members of the Division of Neurobiology and Behavior Research celebrated Dr. Craig Stockmeier's retirement.
Dr. Stockmeier retires with over 20 years of service at the level of the division, department, and School of Medicine. He served as Director of Psychiatry and Human Behavior’s Division of Neurobiology and Behavior Research for 13 years. Dr. Stockmeier chaired the departmental Promotion and Tenure Committee for several years and has served as a committee member during his time at UMMC. In addition, he served on the School of Medicine Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee. For ten years, he served as Principal Investigator and Director of the NIH-funded Center of Biomedical Research Excellence “Center for Psychiatric Neuroscience."
Dr. Stockmeier continues his involvement in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior with the title of Professor Emeritus. Thank you Dr. Stockmeier for your service to UMMC!
